B. Academic Activities

A student must present a seminar on a topic which related to his/her thesis, one seminar per semester as stated in a study plan.
|

A student must present a seminar on the progress of his/her thesis, at least one seminar per semester as stated in a study plan.
|
|
|
|
|
|
3.
|
A student must present at least one scientific/technical paper at an academic meeting on any topic related to his/her thesis and have at least three peer-reviewed scientific/technical papers published or accepted for publication in relevant accredited journals.
|

|
|

C. Non-credit courses
|
|
|
|
Program Requirement: In the case that a student lacks sufficient academic knowledge in key areas concerning his/her research subject, the student will be Required to enroll in courses in order to acquire such knowledge, without earning any credits, as recommended by his/her appointed Doctoral Student Advisory Committee.

D. Qualifying Examination
|
|
|
|
A student must complete a qualifying examination within the second semester of the first
enrolment year. Unsuccessful examinee will have one more opportunity to take a re-examination
within the following two regular semesters.

E. Thesis examination
|
|
|
|
The advisory committee will arrange thesis examination after student has completed his/her thesis.
