D1: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep Temple.
Duration: 3 hours
Start From: 9.00 -12.00 p.m. and 1.30– 4.30 p.m.


Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is Chiang Mai's most important site for visitors, and certainly its most visible. Wat Phra Doi Suthep nestles into the side of Doi Suthep some 3,500 feet above sea level amongst some of the most picturesque scenery you are likely to encounter. Built by King Gue-Na in 1383, the temple houses a large copper-plate Chedi (twenty-two meters high) that is covered in gold and contains holy relics of the Lord Buddha. As well as being a key tourism destination, the temple has considerable importance and Buddhist pilgrims visit the site all year round. The temple has four chapels and an important golden Buddha image is found at the temple. To get to there you either walk up a staircase (around 306 steps) or use a cable car
 




D2: City and Temples Tour.
Duration: 3 hours
Start From: 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. , 1.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.


Visiting old city of Chiang Mai inside the moat areas. These royal temples founded around 1300 A.D. such as Wat Chiang Man, a former palace of King Mung Rai . This temple is a house for two sacred significant Buddha Images of Pra Setang Kamanee and Pra Sila. After enjoying the gorgeous Buddha Images, you are invited to visit the unique and beautiful Buddhist Scripture House (Hor Trai) of Wat Pra Singha and the unique ordination hall namely Vihan Laikhum. The primitive northern style mural painting concerning the folk tales are as of interesting. Then headed to Wat Chedi Luang, where a huge pagoda situated in the center point of Chiang Mai city. With its enormous size you can see clearly the elephant statutes surrounding the Pagoda to support Buddhism. Lastly, stop at Wat Suan Dok, a former royal garden temple outside the moat which has Sukhothai Style Chedi and has a biggest Vihara. We considered this temple being as a Northern Royal Family cemetery

 



D3: Home Industries Manufacturers Village.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m., 1.30 p.m. to 5.00 p.m.


A half day tour to visit several home industries manufacturers and the most famous handicraft center of Chiang Mai, such as lacquer ware, silk and cotton hand woven, wood carving and furniture’s, mulberry umbrellas, silverware and Gems stone factories. Beside seeing the unique life styles of northern people to produce these products step by step by hands, visitors are able to purchase those genuine souvenirs in a reasonable prices

 



D4: Half Day Elephants at Work.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.


A half day tour to see the traditional works of the elephants in the logging industry of the past. These well trained elephants perform daily demonstration of working in the forest and show their responses to the command of the mahouts, such as standing, sitting , hands stand and etc. Moreover, they seem to have brilliant imagination in arts by painting. Those painting are welcoming visitors to purchase, and it is the way to preserve these elephants . After enjoying the lovely show, elephant riding are also possible for visitors who wishes to experience and explore the gorgeous natural of Doi Suthep and Doi Pui mountain ranch. Before returning to the hotel, visitors are invited to stop at the Queen Sirikit Botanical garden. A rainforest areas and a place to nursery multi species endanger wild orchids and plants before reforesting

 



D5: Full Day Elephants at work and Hmong Hill Tribe Village.
Duration: 6.5 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.


Visiting a traditional works of elephants in the logging industries of the past. You will enjoy the lovely and well trained elephants work together happily. Even no longer wood industry today but to keep those elephants for a better living. Visitors are welcoming to feed them or experience the elephants taxi (optional). After that make a stop at the Queen Sirikit Botanical Garden to enjoy a beautiful landscape of Mae Sa Valley and the water shed area of Mae Ping River. At the botanical garden, visitors will acknowledge the Efficiency Economy Theory which initiated by the King of Thailand. The theory aims to improve for better quality of living for Thai people. After that, visitors will be invited to experience the Hmong Culture, a sub-minority group from China. This group has distinguish well-known hand embroidery patchworks, don’t forget to enjoy purchasing their products.

 



D6: A Safari Tour of Elephant Riding and Bamboo Rafting + Long neck village
Duration: 8.5 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m


A full day trip which arrange you to experience how the elephants work in the logging industry in the forest. After the demonstration of elephants at work, you will be provided for the elephant riding to explore the nature jungle of the north, then propose you to change the atmosphere with cool and calm emotion by bamboo rafting. After that, experience a major mode of transportation for rural Thai people, the oxen-cart riding which will bring you back to the past. Before returning to the hotel, visit long neck village make a short stop at the orchid farm. Enjoy the beautiful multi species of orchids, some are aroma to produce perfume but some are developed as a pin or necklace.


 




D7: A Half Day Trip to Visit a Northern Thai Culture.
Duration: 3.5 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 12.00 p.m.


This trip will provide you experience the relationship of Thai farmers and their water buffaloes. Those water buffaloes are well-trained to work in the field , such as plough ting the paddy fields before planting rice. You will get the concepts how the rice are grown, what necessity equipments are needed to grow rice, and how the buffaloes help the farmers to work and etc. This unique and charming trip will help you to better understanding about the rural Thai living. Before returning back to the hotel, you will be advice to visit the orchid farm, enjoying the variety types of orchid in Thailand.

 



D8: Doi Inthanon National Park.
Duration: 8 hours
Start From: 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.


This full day excursion will take you to the highest mountain of Thailand, which is 2,565.33 meters above sea level. You will enjoy the beautifully scenery of valley, the waterfall, the variety of plants such as deciduous and forever green forest, the Rhododendron, moss, liken and etc. Doi Inthanon is also a paradise place for bird watchers especially in the cool season, which will be able to see lots of migratory birds escape the cold from China. The park has cool climate whole year round, therefore, the cold climate vegetation are also possible to cultivate in the areas, such as strawberry, peach, plum and some cold flowers. This trip will take you to the very successful Royal Project, changing the tribes habit from growing opium and deforesting to grow economic vegetation such as cabbages, carrot, lettuce and etc. Today, these tribesmen have better quality of live and get good education. Lunch is included in the trip. It can be lunch box or Thai Set menu. After lunch, we will proceed you to experience the tribe culture of Karen village and stop over at a beautiful waterfall of Vachiratarn or Mae Klang waterfall before returning back to your hotel.

 



D9: Mae Ping River Cruise
Duration: 3.0 hours
Start From: During 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.


It takes approximately about 2.30 hours to have you to experience the rural living of northern Thai people along the river bank of Mae Ping River. You will be pick up from your hotel and proceed you to the pier, then cruising along the Mae Ping River. You are also welcome to stop over at the villagers farmland, their orchard to visit their spice, the medical herbs, and vegetable plantation. Along the trip, fresh fruits and soft drink will be provided.

 



D10: Khantoke Dinner and Show
Duration: 10.3 hours
Start From: 7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.


Enjoy the northern style dinner which compound of sticky rice, pork rise skin, Kaeng Hung Le( Burmese style curry), Sweet and sour crispy noodles, stir fried vegetable, fried chicken and some northern style chili pastes. While having dinner in northern Thai style, visitors are required to sit gathering to enjoy the food and simultaneously the residence will perform several folk dances to give honor to the visitors such as, finger nails dance, candle dance, sward dance and etc. To experience the Khantoke dinner, you will arranged the round-trip transportation from your hotel. Drinks are excluded.

 



D11: Chiang Rai and The Golden Triangle Tour.
Duration: 12 hours
Start From: 7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.


A full day tour to visit Chiang Rai, a home for various hill tribe people those migrated from China long time ago. Leave Chiang Mai in early morning to visit the hot spring, then proceed to several hill tribe villages such as Akha and Mien Villages. Visitors are able to purchase local souvenirs from those tribesmen and simultaneously enjoy their cultures, such as their primitive housing, the choosing of land to settle the village, the believe and etc. After that , continue to a border town namely Mae Sai. Lunch will be arranged and after lunch, just enjoy shopping for Chinese commodities at the border area or conduct tour to visit Myanmar (consult your tour guide) . Then proceed you to the Golden Triangle, the infamous place for opium war in the past. To acknowledge the about the opium history, you are invited to visit the opium house, then experience the long tail boat riding to explore the living of people along the Mae Khong River for all Thailand, Laos and Burmese. (Boat trip is an option tour) Lastly, make a short visit to the historical site of Chiang Saen, a former capital of Lanna Kingdom and a charming city which will present to be a world heritage city.

 



D12: Authentic Thai Cooking Class
Duration: 7 hours
Start From: 9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.


Enjoy and experience Thai cooking class. Starting from the fundamental knowledge of choosing the materials or the ingredients at the fresh market, understanding the recipe , the kitchen equipments and etc. Learn to cook the famous menu such as Tom Yum Koong (spicy and sour Shrimp soup) and Pat Thai (fried noodle). Moreover, you will be taught the technique to crave the fruits and vegetables to decorate the dishes. Then enjoy your own meals which you have cooked.
